Providence Food Pantry is dedicated to serving the community of West Terre Haute, Indiana by Providing essential food supplies to those in need. Our mission is to ensure that no individual or family in our area goes hungry. With your support, we can work towards a hunger-free community.
How to Get Help
Providence Food Pantry serves anyone in need of food assistance. We are open for food distribution every Thursday from 8:00 - 10:30 am. Closed every 5th Thursday of the month.
We ask that, if at all possible, that you bring a couple of boxes or other containers for your food.
We also ask that you be in line by 10:00 am.
At this point were a distribution food pantry only. We do not have the ability to deliver.
We are a choice food pantry so you will be able to decide what items you want from what is available. The number of items you are able to receive is based on family size.

About The Experience
As you come into our pantry you will be asked to sign in with your first and last name, your city, county of residency, and the number of people in your household.
You will be given a number that corresponds to the number of people in your household.
You show this number to the person at each counter. The volunteer will share how many items you may have. You select what you wish for your family. If you do not wish what we offer, simply say no thank you.
We prioritize human interaction so you will be greeted by warm and caring people. We will also provide a good supply of nutritious food.
We distribute meat, margarine, milk, peanut butter and jelly, soup, pasta and sauce, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables and dried beans. We also have fresh fruits and vegetables as well as bread and eggs.
